Educational Visit to Kalinga University Moot Court

As part of the academic enrichment programme for the session 2026–27, an educational visit to the Moot Court at Kalinga University was organised on 25 July 2026 for the students of Classes XI and XII pursuing Legal Studies. A total of 35 students participated in the visit.

The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the functioning of a Moot Court and help them connect their classroom learning with real-world legal procedures. Prior consent was obtained from the parents/guardians of all participating students.During the visit, students were introduced to the courtroom setup and gained insights into judicial proceedings. They had the opportunity to interact with university faculty and legal experts, witnessed a demonstration of moot court practices and legal arguments, and learned about the various career opportunities available in the field of law.

The visit helped students develop a better understanding of courtroom procedures and the roles and responsibilities of judges, advocates, and litigants. It also highlighted the importance of advocacy, legal ethics, and effective argumentation in the legal profession. The interaction with legal professionals and exposure to the university environment further encouraged students to explore higher education and career opportunities in law.

The educational visit was highly informative and enriching. It successfully complemented the students' academic curriculum by providing valuable practical exposure to the judicial system and inspiring them to pursue further studies and careers in the field of law.
