Holy Hearts School organised an enriching industrial visit to Adani Power Limited, Tilda Raipur, for 28 students of Classes XI B and XII B (WA). The visit provided students with an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to the functioning of a large-scale thermal power plant and understand the practical applications of concepts learned in the classroom.

Throughout the visit, the students were escorted and guided by Mr. Rahul Kashyap, who provided valuable insights into the operations and safety protocols followed at the plant. He sensitised the students about essential safety measures related to fire fighting, chemical hazards, emergency preparedness, civic sense and alertness, particularly in an industrial environment.

Students had the opportunity to explore the vast 1400-acre thermal power plant and observe various important sections, including the conveyor belt, Coal Handling Plant (CHP), boilers, cooling towers, water treatment plant, transformer section and switchgear section. The visit helped students understand the complex processes involved in power generation and the importance of safety, technology and teamwork in industrial operations.

The experience was both educational and enjoyable, giving students valuable practical exposure beyond the classroom. The visit concluded on a cheerful note, with students enjoying a sumptuous meal and sharing their experiences.

The school extends its sincere gratitude to Ashutosh Sir and Neepa Ma’am for providing the students with this wonderful opportunity to learn, explore and experience the world of industry first-hand.
